Healthy Protein Tips

Protein supplies the basic building blocks of life. They are the body’s main structural element. The proteins, in its original form, are too large to be absorbed through the intestines. The body breaks them down into smaller components called amino acids. The amino acids are small enough to penetrate the intestinal wall and are absorbed into the blood stream. The amino acids are used to build and maintain the body’s structure. The amino acids not used for this are used for energy.

When you look in the mirror you are seeing protein in action. Your hair, eyes, skin, bones, heart, veins, muscles and genes that carry your personal blueprint are made of protein. While other foods are important, it is protein that actually builds your muscles.

Protein gives your body what is necessary for growth, recovery and repair. We need protein for growth. Enough intake of protein is essential to our health. Protein is needed for:
Growth and development in child
Cell maintenance and repair
Regulation of body functions
Various tasks that fat and carbohydrates cannot do

Protein is consists of amino acids. Proteins from different types of foods contain different types of amino acids. These amino acids are used by our body to create protein that we need. Amino acids can be categorized into two broad types, non-essential amino acids and essential amino acids.
Protein Type

Essential amino acids are provided from our daily diets. Our body cannot create these amino acids from other amino acids. Unlike essential amino acids, our body can make non-essential amino acids from other amino acids that we consume. The daily intake of protein can be up to 15% of the total nutrients we eat. One way to work out how much protein you need for a day is multiply your weight with 0.75 protein per day. So if you weight about 51kg, you need about 38g of protein a day. If you weight about 70kg, you need slightly more than 52g of protein a day.

Easy Gym Tips

Do Something You Enjoy

Exercise doesn't have to mean spending hours at the gym peddling away on a stationary bike. It doesn’t mean you have to spend money on exercise gadgets you will likely never use, either. Anything you do to get your body moving is going to be better than doing nothing. Walking is an easy exercise that you can do just about anywhere, in any climate. Bike riding, dancing, gardening, weight lifting, swimming, playing a favorite sport, house cleaning and even playing in the yard with your children are just some of the ways you can add exercise into your daily routine.

Schedule Time for Exercise

As you would a meeting or a doctor appointment, sometimes the only way to make time to exercise is to put it on your daily schedule. We’ve all got busy lives and we’re often so busy taking care of others that we never seem to make time for ourselves. Once exercise becomes part of your daily To-Do list, you’re more likely to do it. Some people have only a certain time during the day available for exercise while others will have to vary the time each day. Some people need a nudge and for them, exercising with a friend is a good solution. Choose whichever way works best for you. Just remember to actually go and do it!

 Remember that Exercise Can Energize

Even though you might feel too tired to exercise, give it a try anyway. You might be surprised to find how energized you feel while you’re at it and afterwards, when you’re finished. Exercise is a great stress-reliever too and if you know anything about stress, you know that it is one of the body’s biggest energy-sappers.

Don’t be Afraid to Mix it up

Like anything that is done over and over again, exercise can become mundane. When you get bored with exercising, you’re less likely to keep at it. To keep from getting bored with your workout routine, change it. If you’re tired of walking, try cycling. If you’re into weight lifting, try alternating this with cardiovascular exercises throughout the week. Go bowling or play a game of tennis once in a while, and if you find you enjoy these t
ypes of activities, join up with a team.

Always Begin by Warming up

Regardless of the type of exercise you choose, it is very important that you begin each session by warming up your muscles. Stretching helps prevent damage to muscle tissue and it gets your blood flowing. It gets your heart pumping, too. Just five minutes is all it takes to get your exercise session off to a good start.

Hair Loss Tips

1. Hot oil treatments: Take any natural oil - olive, coconut, canola - and heat it up so that it is warm, but not too hot. Massage it gently into your scalp. Put on a shower cap
and leave it on for an hour, then shampoo your hair. 2. Natural juices: You can rub your scalp with either garlic juice, onion juice or ginger juice. Leave it on overnight and wash it thoroughly in the morning. 3. Get a head massage: Massaging your scalp for a few minutes daily will help stimulate circulation. Good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Circulation may be improved through massage by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base. 4. Antioxidants: Apply warm green tea (two bags brewed in one cup of water) on your scalp and leave this mixture on for an hour and then rinse. Green tea contains antioxidants which prevent hair loss and boost hair growth. 5. Practice meditation: Believe it or not, most of the times, the root cause for hair loss is stress and tension. Meditation can help in reducing that and restore hormonal balance.

Easy Digestion Tips

This papaya, banana and ginger smoothie is a tempting indigestion home remedy. Slightly spicy without being hot, the sweetness of fresh fruits will soothe your digestive system whilst herbal ingredients restore normal digestion.

Each of the ingredients in this natural remedy for indigestion has its own digestive healing properties. In combination, they yield a considerable positive effect on food digestion.

Papaya is an alkaline-producing fruit that aids in detoxification by flushing toxins out of the body.

Bananas soothe the digestive system, restore normal function in the digestive tract and reduce flatulence. The pectin (a fibre) in bananas helps the body get rid of toxic wastes. Bananas are a commonly recommended for the related problems of constipation and diarrhoea.

For centuries, traditional medicines have made use of ginger as an aid to digestion. Ginger increases digestive enzymes, protects the lining of the stomach, stimulates bile flow and reduces flatulence.

Lemonbalm has a sweet and lemony flavour which enhances this fruity drink, but you could use other herbs that are beneficial to the digestive system such as peppermint, sage or fennel.
Papaya, Banana and Ginger Smoothie Recipe Makes approximately 1 litre (4 large glasses)
 Ingredients 1 papaya
2 bananas
 2 tspns freshly grated ginger
 8-10 lemon balm leaves
 250ml (1 cup) water
 Steps 1. Grate ginger.
 2. Peel and chop the papaya into large chunks.
 3. Place the papaya chunks, bananas, ginger, lemon balm and water into your blender and blend for 30 seconds.
Tips  Bananas are easiest to digest when they’re ripe – use bananas after they’ve lost their greenness around the tips.
Try and keep this smoothie at room temperature by using unrefrigerated fruit and water. Food at extremes of cold and heat can have a negative effect on the digestive system.
A convenient and easy way to add a combination of ginger and other beneficial herbs is to use a prepared herbal remedy such as Digest Assist from Native Remedies (aff.). This remedy for acute and chronic digestive problems con
tains ginger and fennel, peppermint and stomach bush.

Rangoli Tips

While drawing circles, tie thread to a chalk. Then hold the free end of thread with left hand’s index finger tip and draw a circle holding the chalk in right hand. Use a Sieve/Strainer to fill colors. This makes the color filing very fast. To make a matrix of dots, mark equidistant points on a paper. Then with a incense/agarbatti
stick make holes on that particular point. Make sure to make holes of somewhat same size. Make white outlines to enhance the rangoli. If you want to give a light tone to the color, mix it with white plain rangoli. Always use dark colors alongside the light ones. To make an attractive color scheme, choose pairs of opposite colors: Red & Green, Black & White,Violet & Yellow, Orange & Blue, Red & Yellow, Yellow & Green,Orange & Yellow,Blue & Yellow, etc. The rangoli colors available in the market are sticky and cannot be sprinkled or taken in the pinch. To make them free-flowing mix colors with white rangoli powder. Some more tips •To fill colour you can use mehindi cones. This will help to fill the colour more accurately and easily. •You may create spaces within the rangoli design to place diyas. You could also use flower petals of different colours (golden marigolds, bright red roses) to add that extra dimension to your design. •Special floating candles are also available in the market. Float them in big containers of water along with flower petals. •If you are making rangoli design with edible material spray some pesticides near rangoli so that the ants don’t attack your it. •You can put a glass of appropriate size to put over the frame is essential to prevent damage as well as it will increase the glaze of Your Kolam. •Make white outlines to enhance the design. •You can also make a stencil of Rangoli. For this take a cardboard and draw the design you want to make, and cut out the design .So any time you want to make that design just sprinkle colour on the cardboard and the design is ready. •Donot use glue to make the rangoli permanent. That will only spoil it.

Healthy Dinner Tips

Every week is a constant flurry of work, cooking, cleaning, errands, and getting the kids everywhere they need to be. Busy is just, well, normal. So, with lives like this, how do we get real food on the table? The first step is to take a deep breath, exhale, and relax. Real food doesn’t mean making a five-course meal after a ten-hour day. Here, some tips to help you get healthy dinner on the table and stay sane. 1. Teach your family to love leftovers Some meals, like braised meats, lasagna, or chili actually taste better the day after you make them because the flavors develop overnight. Cook extra helpings and serve them for dinner the next night or pack them in lunch boxes; you'll not only save time and reduce food waste, but also skip a trip through the drive-thru! 2. Cook once for two meals Roast two chickens instead of one. For the first night's dinner, you have a warm, perfectly crisp bird. On the second day, you'll have cooked chicken, ready for soup, chili, and salad. Hate to eat the same thing two days in a row? Still make the extra portion and freeze them for the following week. 3. Instill weekend family time in the kitchen I love it when the whole family spends time together in the kitchen with me, prepping Sunday night dinner. Cooking is minimal during the week: I prepare most of our meals on Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Wednesday, I alternate the leftovers to make my weeknights as easy as heat and eat. Thursday nights we have a simple meal. Our book has some fantastic ideas for from-scratch dinners you can whip together in minutes—think grilled cheese with leftover roasted vegetables, nutritious wraps, and egg dishes. Frida
ys are a good night to eat out or make pizza together.

Fitness Tips For Mens

Fitness Coaching
Mindset is important, as well as education and self-motivation. Fitness coaching provides professional knowledge, supervises the workout program, and encourages a fun, safe and effective workout. Fitness coaching can fine-tune the program to achieve better results, to make it personal for a man to be able to do it at his own pace. Fitness coaching can motivate a man to get in the right frame of mind on making smarter food choices and incorporating long walks into the morning and evening commute.
 Fitness Nutrition
Real life wellness begins with healthy eating habits. These include changing a man’s eating habits—not his diet—to eating healthier foods such as greener, leafier vegetables and fresh fruits each day, cutting down on salt intake and cutting out starches and sweets, and drinking lots of water. Daily servings of whole grain foods help reduce the risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer. Switch from high fat to low fat diet—regular milk to skim milk and regular cheese to light cheese.
 Fitness Lifestyle
Life is too short for it to be all beer and skittles. Lifestyle changes can start with small things in the comfort of a man’s home. Fitness lifestyles promote healthy mind, body, and spirit. Fitness lifestyles can include fun, low impact workout with the family. These fun exercises at home are perfect ways to stay in shape and spend time with family members. The camaraderie of a team atmosphere and buddy system can relieve stress and leave a man feeling centered and calm. Exercise at home and fitness walking are ways to promote kids fitness and fitness exercise that will serve children throughout their lives.
 Fitness Commitment
Commit to healthy lifestyle behaviors to stay fit. Write down fitness goals; short-term and long-term goals, never mind how indistinct these are, doing something is a lot better than doing nothing. A short-term goal is modest and represents a number of steps beyond current life style and behavior, while a long-term goal is the finish line—how a man sees himself in six months, in a year or two. Start out slowly and try to progress each week from moderate to vigorous. Remember that healthy living brings substantial health benefits that include chronic disease prevention, like heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, colon cancer, breast cancer, and osteoporosis.
The primary benefit of a healthy living is increased physical independence. It is never too late to commit to a healthier lifestyle—fitness nutrition, fitness exercise, fitness sports, and fitness life style. It is never too late to decrease risk of heart attack, lower bad cholesterol in the blood, reduce risk of cancer and diabetes, avoid the need for gallstone surgery, reduce risk of hip fracture, and prevent depression, colon cancer, constipation, osteoporosis, and impotence. Therefore, keep fitness first and keep it steady.

The Kitchen should be in the South-East corner of the main building or the flat. The main Kitchen platform should be in the East and the South-East corner. The platform should not touch the east and the south walls of the kitchen. It should be at least one to three inches away from the kitchen we can also take a projection of 1 or 2 inches while constructing the kitchen. Stove or gas burner should be in the south-east corner, a few inches away from the wall. The gas burner should not be in front of the main door of kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen platform, another L shaped platform near the south wall for keeping micro oven, mixer, grinder etc. will be very useful. The washbasin (sink) of the platform should be in the north-east corner as far as possible. Pitcher of water and utensils for drinking water should be in the north-east or the north side. Essential commodities like boxes of grain, spices, pluses etc. should be in the south or west direction. The entrance door should not be in any of the corners. Summer makeup tips

Before starting the makeup process, apply an ice cube on the clean face as this clogs the pores and the skin becomes more matte. If you have a mixed or oily skin, apply a gel-cream or a moisturizing lotion in order to prevent the sebum outbreak.

Say no to foundation. When it comes to foundation, specialists say that it is better to avoid it during summer. Therefore, you should avoid applying foundation and go only for some blush in order to emphasize your cheekbones. Still, if you really need foundation, choose a moisturizing, matte one.

Powder. For a more natural look, you can successfully replace foundation with powder. Even though powder is not strongly recommended either, if you still decide to use it, choose it in a light, smooth texture and colors such as golden-brown, raspberry pink, dark red or a darker pink.

Bronze powder. Always avoid applying bronze powder just after applying moisturizing cream. This will make the process much more difficult. Therefore, your skin should be dry. Apply it along the forehead, Nose Bridge, cheeks, a bit on the chin and neck.

Blush. For a more natural, daytime makeup use creamy and smooth, fluid textures, rather transparent, and warm colors. If you want a sun-kissed effect use a brush and apply some blush on the nostrils.
At the beach. Everyone knows that at the beach makeup is totally forbidden. This is not just because you cannot tan, but when you'll get out of the water you'll look rather strange and scary. Moreover, the substances in makeup products combined with sun rays can really harm your skin. Nevertheless, there are two products you can use on this occasion. First, there is the water proof mascara applied in one lightly coat. Then, there is the lip gloss in shimmery shades.

Daytime makeup. For this type of makeup, a blush is the secret weapon. However, make sure it is bronze for brunettes, and pink, coral or peachy for blondes. Blush plays the role of refreshing the skin. Use natural colors for eyeshadow such as beige, warm shades of brown, pink and orange. You can use black or brown mascara as long as you don't overload your eyelashes. Replace your eyebrow pencil by colorless mascara. Avoid lip liner and go for lip gloss and colors such as pink, beige or peach.
Shimmery makeup is appropriate for a daytime look in order to accentuate the bronze effect. If you are looking for an easy and quick makeup choose a concealed and a self-tanning balm or gel.
Balm is perfect if you want to cover red spots and it gives the illusion that nothing has been applied on the skin. It also acts as a sunscreen. If you want to accentuate the tanned effect, apply a bronze illuminating powder or a creamy blush for a fresh look. The eyeliner is essential as it intensifies the look.

Evening makeup now you are allowed to use foundation, but still try not to exaggerate. As for the makeup, choose what part you want to accentuate: the lips or the eyes. In both cases you can use mascara. For a night out with your friends, in a club, you should avoid using foundation. Use the powder instead and take it with you if you feel like refreshing your makeup. For the eyes you can choose metallics and a holographic lip gloss for your lips. Make sure all makeup products that you choose are transfer resistant.

Femme fatale. If for a casual, daytime makeup it is advisable not to exaggerate with your makeup, for an evening makeup you can dare more and play with colors. You can accentuate the eyes using false eyelashes and shimmery eyeshadow. Moreover for a “femme fatale” look, you can use a black eyeliner and iridescent eyeshadow to brighten up your look

Important Healthy Tips

When you are in the process of losing weight, your body is eating away at your largest fat deposits, so it is important to know how to flush fat out of your system. This is not only important for ridding your body of roaming fat cells, but also for removing the toxins that have embedded themselves within these deposits. By consciously adding a daily flush regiment to your diet, you can accelerate your weight loss.

1. Water
Even though bathroom visits may increase, the result of maintaining a continued flow of water intake will be worth it. If you can consume water at room temperature it will enable you to drink more without constantly shocking your system into warming it. Our bodies are approximately 75 percent water, so it’s no wonder that this is the best method for flushing out fat. Interestingly, obese and elderly bodies have as little as 40 percent water.

2. Soybeans

This protein rich legume contains lecithin and choline, which have been proven to maintain a healthy metabolism and block fat absorption by cells. This is an essential combination because it enables the body to continue a metabolic burn, while flushing fat due to its inability to properly absorb. Soybeans can be found in many products, but the less refined, non-GMO (genetically modified organism) they are, the more advantageous they will be. Look for organic edamame, tempeh and tofu.

3. Fruits

Fruit is nature’s street sweeper for the body. It contains plenty of water and is full of key nutrients including fiber and vitamin C. These two ingredients work hand in hand. The vitamin C accelerates fat burning properties and the fiber sweeps the fat out of your system. Many diets that claim to flush fat recommend citrus fruits for an optimal cleanse. Oranges, grapefruits and tangerines are easy to transport and can give you an energy lift in the middle of the day. Eat fruit for breakfast as well as a lunch or evening snack. Be sure and try not to mix too many kinds, and to eat bananas last to avoid indigestion.

4. Vegetables

It is no surprise that vegetables are right up there with fruit. Vegetables also contain high water content and offer a large variety of vitamins, minerals and fiber, enhancing the excretion of roaming fat molecules. Eat them raw when you can and do not overcook. Vegetables are most beneficial when they still have their ’snap.’

5. Tea: Green – Yerba Mate’ – Lemon Cleanse Mixture

Green tea and yerba mate’ contain properties such as theobromine, catechin polyphenols and botanical caffeine which are highly effective in expelling fat. The combination of the caffeine and theobromine offers a slow, energetic metabolic boost which in turn can burn and flush away fat deposits. The catechin polyphenols thwart fat buildup and reduce bad cholesterol. There is also a lemon tea cleanse which is high in zinc and potassium, removes fat accumulation and increases circulation.
It is a mixture of:
7 oz. boiling water
2 tablespoons of grade B maple syrup
1 lemon
2 to 3 dashes of cayenne pepper
Squeeze lemon into boiling water, add maple syrup and pepper. Two servings.

Healthy cooking tips

One of the best tips that you can follow when you are using oil is to add it to the sides of your pan upon cooking- so when it gets to the food, it is already heated. This will help to maximize the flavor of your food when you are done.

Partially freeze meat to make slicing into thin strips easier. This is ideal for Oriental meals like Chinese dishes or Thai dishes. By partially freezing meat ingredients, slicing is cleaner and the fibers do not stretch and tear as easily. However, be sure to allow the meat strips to thaw before cooking them, for even cooking.

Ensure that your baked fish is moist and tender by cooking "en papillote". This is a French technique that refers to fish baked in a parchment-paper packet. Place the fish and vegetables of your choice in the center of a large piece of parchment-paper. Bring the edges of the paper together, crease them tightly to form a seal, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 450 degrees. The fish and vegetables steam in the packet, keeping them moist and tender, and creating a tasty, healthy dish. (Clean-up is just as easy - simply throw away the paper after eating!)

Before you start cooking or baking make sure you have all the ingredients gathered together. This will save you time and prevent cooking mishaps. You'll have a better product in the end.

For stir fry with an authentic Chinese touch, try using their velveting technique! Prepare a mixture of corn starch, egg whites, seasonings and sherry and set your pork, chicken or shrimp in it for about half an hour. Then, blanch it in hot oil or boiling water for shiny, tender and delicious restaurant quality stir fry.

When seasoning your food, remember that it is much easier to add more seasoning if needed, but you cannot take it away if you add too much. That is why it's important to go light when seasoning with herbs and spices. You want to compliment the flavors of the food and not overpower them.

Keep a few cut up, washed, and prepared vegetables in your freezer. This will reduce your prep time when you're cooking a recipe. Onions and peppers are great to freeze. Just buy them fresh, wash and cut them when you have time, and store them in individual zip lock bags.

It is extremely embarrassing to have lumps in your gravy. It happens to everybody from the beginner cook to the master chef. There is a simple trick you can use to eliminate them. Drain the gravy through a fine strainer and discard the lumps. This technique can be used for other sauces or soups too.

Garlic is just one of many tasty ingredients whose flavor has a downside: It transfers to your hands. Rub your hands thoroughly on the interior of a stainless steel sink after working with garlic or other odoriferous cooking ingredients. This will cleanse your hands and prevent the s

mells from transferring to the food you handle next.

Tips for hair maintenance

Less or no heat when blow drying, use a cooler setting and do not blow dry until is completely dry.
2) Use acidifiers. Acidifiers close the cuticle down and lock in moisture. Acidifiers have a pH of 2.5 to 3.5. They have a lower pH than hair does in an aqueous solution.
3) Color, perms, relaxers, and other chemicals are sometimes a necessary evil. They rob the hair of humectants. Humectants attract and retain moisture (water) in the cortical layer of the hair. Try to use low ammonia -low peroxide color. Do not leave neutralizer on too long with perms. If possible avoid relaxers.
4) Treat your hair. Replace lost humectants with essential fatty acids (lipids), acidify your hair, use low pH products, and use cool water. Replace what was taken out to make your hair dry. Also eat a diet full of essential fatty a

cids (in moderation and non-animal [no cholesterol]).

Oily Skin Treatment for mens

Wash your face three times a day using soap and hot water. Hot water is much more effective at dissolving and washing away skin oil than cold water. You can use regular bar soap or try a medicated soap, such as Neutrogena Oily Skin Formula or Clearasil soap for oily skin.
Exercise regularly to boost circulation, improve blood flow and unclog pores Contrary to what many people believe, sweating is actually healthy for the skin and can help stop oily skin and reduce the frequency of acne outbreaks.

Apply a mud or clay mask to your face several times each week. Darker masks are typically the most absorbent, but rose-colored clay may be less irritating to sensitive skin.
Use an astringent that contains acetone to help stop oily skin. In most cases, rubbing alcohol and witch hazel work just as well as expensive astringents. You can also purchase astringent pads at most pharmacies and grocery stores to carry with you when you are away from home.
Purchase only water-based cosmetics, as oil-based products can increase oil on the face. Set foundations with a light dusting of baby powder, which is more absorbent than many cosmetic powders. Powder will not stop oil production, but it can minimize the appearance of oily skin.
Stop or change the type of oral contraceptive pill you use to help stop oily skin. Hormones play a major role in oily skin, which is why oil and acne increase during puberty and pregnancy. If you are not currently using birth control pills, you can ask your doctor about the benefits and risks of using oral contraceptives to treat oily skin.
Avoid over stimulating your skin. Exfoliating too often is a common trigger of excessive oil production. Frequent or severe sunburns or constantly rubbing or picking at your skin can also cause over-stimulation. If you exfoliate, do so only once or twice each week to prevent an increase in oil production.
Try an over-the-counter or prescription medication that contains retinol to control oily skin. Use these products spa

ringly to avoid skin irritation, redness and flaking.

Tattoos Tips

It can be very difficult to select from the many tattoo designs on the spot. Even if you have already selected a design, the artist may be able to present you with several different options to make your tattoo designs even more personable.
Before arriving for the application of a tattoo, it is best to have a selection of tattoo designs in mind before you enter the parlor. Although there are some exceptions, most men and women will naturally be drawn to different tattoo designs. Men, for instance, would likely prefer something masculine, while women often prefer something dainty and sexy. Of all tattoo designs, women commonly select hearts, butterflies, flowers, lettering, etc. The most popular placement, for women, is the shoulder, lower back and ankle. Men, on the other hand, often prefer that their tattoo designs be placed on the upper arm, chest or back.
While there are tattoo designs that are gender specific, it is important to keep in mind that getting a tattoo is a very personal thing and the image that is ultimately chosen should be one that reflects something that is important to the wearer. Upon discussing the various tattoo designs with the artist, the customer will gain a better understanding of the different options and designs available.
Many individuals select tattoo designs from those presented at the parlor, while others prefer to do some research and help ensure that their design is unlike any other. For certain tattoo designs, some people prefer to look at real life photos or browse through artwork for ideas pertaining to their tattoo designs. If you find an image that you like, simply take it to the artist for an evaluation as to whether or not the image can be recreated in the form of a tattoo.
